Using the Transfer Webpage

After connecting LAN Transfer, the browser shows the library on the phone or tablet serving it. Project and playlist changes here are saved to that device.

Upload and Download

Drag files or entire folders to upload recognized audio/video and .gjproject packages. Unrecognized files are skipped.

You can also download the device's projects and media for backups or further editing on another device. Page sorting affects only display, not upload order.

Manage Projects and Playlists

The webpage supports searching, type filtering, sorting, and editing project names and descriptions. Its list sorting is saved separately from the app's project library sorting.

In playlists, add/remove tracks and drag to reorder them. Return to the app to play when finished. This does not mean the standalone browser version supports playlist mode.

Open a Project in the Browser Extension

After installing the extension in a compatible Chromium browser such as Chrome or Edge, select a project and Open in Browser Extension. A new extension tab shows the source and asks for confirmation, then imports one project at a time.

If no extension is available, the page provides an installation link. For browsers such as Firefox that cannot hand off directly, download the .gjproject and drag it into the extension page.

This copies the project into the extension; subsequent edits do not sync automatically.

Common Questions

Opening the extension has no effect. Check whether the browser blocked the new tab or popup. Allow it for the current transfer address and retry.

The upload does not appear in the app list. Refresh the project list and check the webpage for upload or import failure messages.

I want to take several projects at once. Download them, then import each into the destination workspace.
