Markdown Syntax

Notes support Markdown, and you can also insert formatting using the editing toolbar.

Toolbar Formats

The toolbar provides:

• Heading: cycle through H1 → H2 → H3 → body text with each press.
• Bold, Italic, and Strikethrough: three separate buttons.
• Bulleted lists and Numbered lists.
• Task lists: checkable boxes.
• Quote: an indented blockquote.
• Horizontal rule: a line separating longer sections.
• Link: insert a URL—for example, a sheet music source or reference video.

If familiar with Markdown, type syntax directly (#, -, - [ ], [text](URL), etc.). The editor renders it into formatted text in real time.

Practice Tip

List the points you want to master as a task list, checking each after practicing:

- [x] Finalize fingering for measures 9–12
- [ ] Play section B at original speed
- [ ] Hear the outro slides clearly

Checkbox states are saved in the project so you can continue next time.
