Choose How to Use GrooveJog
GrooveJog runs on phones, tablets, and in browsers. Playback, slow playback, loops, clips, and notes work the same way, while the arrangement and some features differ.

In this manual, “tablet” means the device and its layout; “Pads” means the tool that triggers clip playback.

Phones and tablets use the same kind of app. A larger tablet screen does not give it the same feature set as the browser version. Details such as model downloads, file selection, and system sharing are explained in the relevant chapters.
Three Different Kinds of “Webpage”
- Web app: open GrooveJog in a browser and use the workspace and projects stored in that browser.
- Browser extension: use GrooveJog on the extension page after installation; its browser controls are covered by the same instructions as the web app.
- LAN transfer webpage: provided by the phone or tablet app to transfer files and manage that device's projects and playlists. The app's transfer panel must remain open while using it. See LAN Transfer.

Continue on Another Device
Save the project on the original device, export it as a .gjproject, and import it on the other device. To mix stems in a browser, keep “Include separated tracks” enabled when exporting.
This is a manual transfer; later edits do not sync automatically. See Export and Move Projects.
